Job Summary
In this role, you will lead the development and implementation of global commercial labeling changes, working closely with cross-functional teams including commercial, regulatory, quality, manufacturing, and supply chain.
You will represent the artwork function in country launch planning, manage labeling change controls, and prioritize the work of the graphics team to ensure timely creation and approval of artwork files.
Additionally, you will resolve printing-related issues, develop labeling documentation (SOPs, work instructions), and lead continuous improvement efforts, including the adoption of new labeling processes and software.
Job Description
Here’s What You’ll Do
• Responsibility for the overall development and timely implementation of global commercial labeling changes
• Manage labeling changes with cross functional team members: commercial, regulatory, quality, manufacturing, supply chain, etc.
• Represent the artwork function within the integrated country launch planning process
• Manage exceptions and elevate as needed to ensure timely availability of artwork
• Lead supply requirements in support of printed component for specific markets
• Manage and prioritize the work of the graphics team for creation/updating of artwork files
• Manage routing of artworks for internal Moderna approvals to ensure timely completion
• Resolve printing related issues with manufacturing sites and printers.
• Work with manufacturing sites to ensure labeling inputs are clear (die lines, coding areas, timings, etc.).
• Develop labeling documentation - SOPs, Work Instructions, etc.
• Lead or participate in continuous improvement efforts
Here’s What You’ll Need (Basic Qualifications)
• BA/BS or MS in a relevant discipline (Business, Engineering,)
• 8-12 years’ experience in planning and/or managing artwork and labeling changes for packaging materials
Here’s What You’ll Bring to the Table (Preferred Qualifications)
• Outstanding / effective communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and drive them to completion
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a dynamic, cross-functional matrix environment
• Proven ability to support demanding operations timelines with flexibility without compromising compliance in a challenging environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and graphics software (Illustrator, Photoshop)
• Experience with an Artwork Management System preferred
• Demonstrated ability to improve business processes
• Experience in a GMP environment is preferred
• Experience in Biotech or Pharmaceutical environment is preferred
